    Rocco Vega

    CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - ESTIMATOR

    With nearly three decades in construction, Rocco brings deep experience, a hands-on approach, and a genuine love for the craft. He started out as a laborer 30 years ago and worked his way up through the ranks—gaining experience at some of the top construction firms in the country.
    Originally from sunny San Diego, he’s called the Pacific Northwest home for the past 20 years. These days, he plays a key leadership role at Vega Builders, focusing on quality work, strong relationships, and continued growth.

    Outside of work, Rocco’s often scuba diving, exploring somewhere new, or deep into a game of poker with good friends.

    Ellie Limnios

    CONTROLLER

    Originally from Chicago, Ellie moved to Washington in 2019 with her family. After over a decade as a homemaker, homeschooling her five kids, she returned to the workforce ready to take on new challenges. Before this, Ellie managed busy retail stores, sharpening her skills in leadership, operations, team management, and customer care.

    Now, as Controller at Vega Builders, she keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes—overseeing accounting, HR, and the logistics that keep the business humming and the team supported. Outside of work, Ellie’s a coffee-loving, board game–playing book nerd who’s always up for an adventure—or a good nap.

    Nicholas Serdar

    GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT - MASTER TILE SETTER

    Nicholas has been in construction since 2001 and still loves a good challenge—the harder, the better. As our Superintendent, he keeps projects moving with a sharp eye for detail, a steady hand, and a deep appreciation for doing things right. He thrives on problem-solving and teamwork and takes real pride in turning complex jobs into beautifully finished spaces. He’s also the guy who’s always got a helpful tip, a calm presence, and probably a few backup tools in his truck… just in case.

    Off the clock, Nicholas is a horror-loving cinema buff, a tech whiz who builds PCs for fun, and a devoted dad who’s happiest hiking, cooking, or exploring the Puget Sound with his kids. He’s all about learning, growing, and helping others along the way.

    Chris Brann

    PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT

    Chris is a Poulsbo local with over 30 years in the trades and a career path that covers a lot of territory. He started as an apprentice, worked his way up to journeyman plumber, and went on to found and run Freedom Plumbing for a decade before joining the Vega crew. That combination of hands-on expertise and running a successful business gives him a perspective most people on a job site don't have.

    Outside of work, Chris travels the world with his wife whenever they get the chance, and closer to home you'll find him gardening, cooking up something new in the kitchen, or cheering on the Seahawks. He's also a devoted fan of street-level vlogging content, following creators who explore off-the-beaten-path spots around the globe. One last thing Chris wanted on the record: he loves dogs. Not 'oh I like dogs', but loves dogs. Loves dogs.

    Sam Fox

    LEAD CARPENTER

    Sam grew up in the Hansville area and on job sites—his dad’s a contractor, so the sawdust’s in his blood! He’s been building since 2015 and loves watching a project come together, especially when the tools are fancy and the teamwork is solid. Whether he's framing, finishing, or tackling the day's challenges, Sam enjoys being part of a crew that works hard and takes pride in doing things right.

    These days, his favorite thing is spending time with his wife and daughters. Between baby snuggles, colorful fingernails, and all the adventures that come with being a girl dad, there's nowhere he'd rather be. When he's not with family, you'll likely find him on the golf course, on the ski slopes, out on a hike, managing his fantasy football team, or tinkering with his old Toyota truck.

    Niels Summers

    JOURNEYMAN CARPENTER - TILE SETTER

    A Bainbridge Island native, Niels has been with Vega Builders since day one. With about six years in construction, he brings steady reliability, a great attitude, and a love for the ever-changing nature of the work. He’s a valued part of the crew and always shows up ready to get things done.

    Outside of work, Niels is fully remodeling his own home (so yes, he builds even on his days off), and when he does find free time, he’s usually out golfing or working on his woodworking skills.

    Brett Heintz

    JOURNEYMAN CARPENTER

    Brett brings more than 40 years of experience to the Vega team. For him, construction has always been more than a job—it's a creative outlet. He loves the artistic side of building and takes pride in the details that make a finished project feel special.

    Away from work, Brett enjoys spending time with his family and grandkids. A true Pacific Northwest native, he also loves being outdoors. Whether he's camping, fishing, hiking, or simply relaxing around a firepit, he's happiest making memories with the people he loves.

    Dan Snelson

    LEAD PAINTER

    After three decades in construction, Dan still finds energy and inspiration in the variety each project brings—no two days are ever the same, and that’s just how he likes it.

    His career path has been anything but ordinary: in addition to construction, he’s also coached professional football, worn the stripes as a referee, and been a radio broadcaster. Dan is our go-to for painting and drywall, but he’s just as comfortable with a toolbelt on. When he’s off the clock, chances are he’s out hiking, kayaking, or hiking again… seriously, the man loves a good trail!

    Q Hollis

    APPRENTICE TILESETTER

    Q has an eye for detail and a serious appreciation for good tile work—the more variety, the better. He’s all about precision, pattern, and making things look sharp.

    After crossing paths with Rocco one too many times to ignore (fate, maybe?), he eventually joined the Vega crew, and we’re glad he did. Q brings great energy to the team and knows how to keep things light while getting the job done right.

    Off the job, Q spends his time coaching baseball, playing disc golf, or enjoying live music.

    Luke Tucker

    APPRENTICE CARPENTER

    Luke's a Bainbridge Island kid through and through and is happiest either on a sunny beach or on a job site. His dad's in the trades, so construction was always part of the picture. Six and a half years in, he's stacked up an impressive range: carpentry, concrete, dirt work, steel framing, drywall, rigging, crane work, and even a stint building piers and bridges. What gets him going is learning something new, a new skill, a new tool, or a new way to do something. Most people pick a lane. Luke just keeps adding them.

    Off the clock, you'll find him ripping around on dirt bikes or elbow-deep in an engine, because apparently tearing things apart and putting them back together is what he does for fun too.

    Pacha

    CHIEF HAPPINESS OFFICER

    Pacha joined the Vega team in October 2025 and immediately took his leadership role seriously. As Chief Happiness Officer, he specializes in job site visits, greeting clients at the office, and making the rounds during Monday morning safety meetings to ensure morale is high and everyone has properly acknowledged him.

    He’s especially skilled at boosting productivity through tail wags, strategic eye contact, and the occasional well-timed nap. While he doesn’t operate heavy machinery (yet), he does insist on quality control when it comes to snacks and belly rubs. He is always available for emotional support—and gladly accepts payment in treats.
